Biggest Loser!!

Okay, so I am not proud of this picture of me, but I was also not expecting to see anyone of importance....

So, I went to Boise with my sissy, to run some errands. DIDN'T EVEN SHOWER!! Just had a few things to get done...so we did our few things, and then stopped in for a bite to eat at Quiznos since our good friends own it. We had a great time visiting, and then they were talking about how the girl from this seasons Biggest Loser eats at their store!! She eats there like three or so times a week...you know...kinda like Jared and Subway??! So I was like....NO WAY...has she been here already?? And of course with my luck, I had just missed her!! Well, all was NOT lost. I just happened to get a compliment on my beanie, and I explained that I needed to have my hair done, so until Thursday, I was going to sport a beanie...but they had a better option...



They said...HEY...Mandy works across the street at the hair salon, we could just call over there, and see if she has an opening...! I was SOO down with that, and she just HAPPENED to have an opening that day, in about 20 minutes. I was soo stoked! It was a really nice salon! So, needless to say, my sis and I totally hung out with her for two and a half hours, and got every question answered that I was DYING to know. We watch the Biggest Loser religiously with our ice cream and Doritos, and so it was SO awesome to meet her. I even offered to clean her carpets...sorry Brian!!


Well, I told Mandy she could do WHATEVER she wanted to my hair. We called it the "Mandy Special" So here it is...!!! GO YELLOW TEAM!!! BL7!!! I told her I would probably come back with a real camera, and some make-up... (camera phone...lol)!!

Baby moments....

So, we don't have a video camera per say, but we do have a camera that will take short little clips of our lives....so here is a little one of Blazer that we got. He is a cutie boy!! Oh...and if you will look in the background...you will see my new wall!! Thanks craigslist, Dave, and Brian...for trading his work for our wall!! LOL!!!

Latest Project...

Well, it isn't necessarily the latest project, but it is the latest project that is complete!! Thanks Jenna...It's awesome! We just have the tiniest entry way closet, so I had to think of some way to organize coats and backpacks....so I made some coat hook plaques, and enlisted Jenna Yearsley in some vinyl work, and this is what we got...a really cool wall!! YAY!!! It is working great, no more backpacks thrown everywhere, and I can actually see into my closet!! WOW....and as for my other projects...well, I will hafta let ya know, but don't worry, I have Craigslist to help me, so you know it will be good....!!!

WHAT THE...!!!!!!

Okay, I am seriously bewildered at the tickings of a three-year-old's mind....well, at least our three-year-old!! Yes, this post is once again about none other than our little Parker! Good think my other kids don't get on here, they would begin to think I had all together forgotten about them!

Well, it all started when Oakley had an accident due to one of her many UTI's. The poor girl. she has been through a lot with that...anyways, I had changed her bedding, and set it aside to wash. Well, our dog must have thought this urine was an intruder threatening his domicile, because he marked on on the floor next to it!!! And by marked, I mean PEED!!! WHAT??!!! Our dog has NEVER, I mean NEVER peed in our house...!! And the guy is like 140 pounds...so you can only imagine that was quite the mammoth spot!! Unfortunately I am sure you may already know where this is going....think again... This is where said three-year-old enters story....and rakes havoc...or more, utter dismay...

He actually thought that it would be an incredibly awesome idea to SIT in the dog's pee....EWWWW!!! Ya, if you think that is bad, not only was he sitting in it, he was PLAYING in it, and if you think that was bad....your in for it...

MY THREE-YEAR-OLD LICKED THE DOG PEE!!!????? hold on...let me rephrase that....

MY THREE-YEAR-OLD STUCK HIS FACE IN DOG PEE, AND LICKED IT!!! DOG PEE!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!

So the older kids were even grossed out!! They were the ones to run down to let us know what had happened, and that is where I get the title to this story...WHAT THE......??!! Well, sad to report, but this story ended badly. He ended up in a cold shower...Sorry buddy, we don't sit in, play in, or lick dog pee!!! OR anyone else's pee for that matter!!

Kids are resilient though, he was singing a song the very next day about...."I lick dog pees and get cold showers" "I don't lick dog pees..." and other randomness the spastic kids mind spouted out...

SIGH....

Sticky Situation...

Well, I am disheartened to report that my little baby is about to turn one!! NO FAIR!!! He actually turned 10 months old on Friday, and for me that is the last baby month...I mean think about it...If someone asks " Oh, how old is your baby?" and you tell them 10 months, they will think " Oh, cute baby!!" But if someone asks you how old your baby is, and you say 11 months....well, 11 months is almost a one year old, and one year old means that you are entering the toddler world...!! Of course these are just the confounded theories of an apprehensive mom who is just so sad that it has all blown by so fast...why can't the baby stage last so much longer??

Well, I decided to give him a little celebration treat...a homemade sucker....to commemorate this occasion. This was a seriously gooey, sticky, fun mess!! Here are some slimy pictures that I got of the event...

Well, the moral of the story is, enjoy your babies while they are so small, and sugar does weird things to kids....!!!!

Christmas Came Early!!!

At least for a certain three-year-old it did...!!!

Twas the night before Christmas, and we read a story about the real meaning of Christmas, and then talked about how important it was to go to sleep so that Santa would actually stop at our house. We then talked to our children about the morning plans. We told them that as soon as they got up they should come straight to mommy and daddy's room and wait with us until everyone was awake. We thought it sounded good, especially after an extrememly late night...or early morning should we say?? ANYWAYS....The first two did just as they were told. Carter and Parker came right to our room. We told them to lay down with us until Oakley came in...and they complied....almost!!

Next thing we know Carter is wailing because Parker had snuck down stairs and opened about four or so presents....

Luckily when the kids saw that Santa had brought them some cool stuff, they quickly forgot their sorrows, and they melted into happiness and enjoyed the fun sounds of Christmas morning...

Santa's Little Helper

Santa was up very late getting Christmas ready for the Lords family this year...and so was our little helper! He was so cute, and obviously not helping at all, but we enjoyed the little "elf" hangin with us none the less. Pretty soon our little helpers won't be little anymore...they will be the ones who are old enough to know the true magic of Christmas...not to be confused with the true meaning!!
