Let me introduce you to the "Guilty Face"...also known as the "Oh crap, I just got caught Face"...
Yes, this is Parker Lords...the naughty gender confused three year old of the household. This happened one afternoon while the older kids were at school, and Blazer was napping. He was up with his co-conspirator (shown below) playing quietly as he was asked...such a good little boy....only problem was that he was not playing with HIS toys....he was secretly embezzling his sister's belongings. When I went up to peak on them, I saw them hovering over something...make-up...lovely. Oakley's most treasured possesion too!! I swear...what makes my three year old want to look like this...
is beyond me...
At least she is a girl...not sure who applied this masterpiece though...!!
Well, since he knowingly got into his sister's make-up without asking, I decided it was time for a nap. He doesn't always go down right away if I put him in his room, so he was banished to mommy's room where he knew there were no toys to get into, and inevitably he would go to sleep.
Well...that would be on an ordinary day...not THIS day. I put himin our bed, and when I went back up to check to make sure he was sleeping....I found this...
UGH....There goes his brand new shirt!! SERIOUSLY....WHY??? What makes a child think..."Hey, I think I am going to cut my shirt up..."??? and THANK HEAVENS he didn't cut himself in the process!!!
Well, the moral of the story is that kids are NEVER doing what you think they are, and if they are quietly playing or laughing, then something is seriously wrong, and you are in for an UN-pleasant surprise...!!

the quiet sound of terror! when i run to the back wondering what he is doing. oh dear, poor shirt! the faces are cute though;-)
They both look gorgeous!
Trust me, Parker's got nothin' on Carsten. I have photos to prove it, but now that he's twelve, I think I could use if for blackmail.
Me and a daddy friend and I were just saying the other day how nervous we get when the kids are too quiet!!
Ha Ha! Has Cynthia seen these pics?? There must be something extremely enticing about make-up cause every kid at some point gives themselves a makeover! Oh, and I bet you were just thrilled about him cutting up his brand new shirt! I'd have been ticked!
Wait until they're 17 it only gets better. They don't even tell you where they've been, you get to find out from other people.
What is with the make-up! Tyler ate my mascara the other day! When you figure out how to get them uninterested in make-up PLEASE let me know. ;)
Hahahahahaa! And, sheesh, your makeup is thick!
Forrest is right--that one of Ruby just looks like a mug shot! What a guilty face, she knows she's in trouble.
