Yep, we had been waiting ALL YEAR LONG for this to come out, and had a big event planned...it was SUCH A BLAST.
We all went to TGI Fridays for a pre-movie snack, and then it was on to the theater...where all the magic happens!! We were fully equipt with an action figure sized Edward, a Maniquin head sportin' real locks, and a whole bunch of Edward droolin' ladies ready for some fun!!
Here is a look into our glorious night...
Me and "Edward"
"SMOOCH"
Lindsay and I...and Edward...hehe
Jenna, "Lou Lou" (the head...great for scaring unexpected bystanders), and Me!!
Jenna made these shirts!! Thanks I LOVE IT!!! Above the white writing it actually says O.C.D. in Red...you can see it in some of the other pics...
My Sister-In-Law, Me, and "Lou Lou"
Me and Molly
Me and Lynda
This would be the part of the night just before the movie started where I thought it would be a grand idea to start a Theater-wide WAVE!!! It worked...I didn't think anyone would listen to me when I shouted "HEY!!!"...but then I realized there were hundreds of people staring at the crazy pregnant lady...HAHA...It was a huge success...Hopefully I embarrassed someone in the process!!
Part of our group waiting for the big moment...!!
We stayed up WAY past our bedtime, but OH WHAT FUN WE HAD!!! I even had one of the teenagers tell me that I was their new mom...!!! That must mean I successfully made a complete fool out of myself...YESSSS!!! My only regret is not getting more pictures with more people...there were about 40 in our group!!!

Love it. :) Especially the wave part.
I went to the midnight showing last year and loved the experience, it would NOT have been nearly has entertaining without the sobbing, gasping, near-fainting teens. I kind of wish I'd gone last night... I'll plan on #3.
Btw, I teach the Primary kids how to do the wave during singing time. It is awesome! :)
Sounds like a great night out! I am really looking forward to going. I am planning on seeing it with some church ladies when they come back in town, but I think I might have to buckle and go with my brother.
Can't wait for eclipse!
LOL, how fun! Havent made it to the movie yet and I wont for a few more weeks....sniff, sniff. I want to see it so bad but we dont have the money to go, oh well!
You look so cute and have a total prego glow!
Good times...good times!! What a fun night! The movie went FAR beyond my expectations! Is it possible to be MORE in love with "HIM" now???!!! he he! The only thing I wish, was that I could have socialized with more people...guess that's what happens with that big of a group..maybe it was TOO big?? Well, I can't believe Eclipse comes out in June...best start preparing now!!!
Wo. And to think I missed the amazing fun. Oh well. Maybe next time. Just how much did you embarrass everyone? I'm gonna have to think about it.
Glad New Moon was a big hit for you. I did get to see it- Friday evening instead of Friday morning. Loved it.
Yahooo!! I do have to say that was so stinking fun!!!
See us oldies still know how to have fun!
I can't wait till the next one:)
It truly was a blast. You totally cracked me up with that wave. Glad it turned out so well. I'm freaking out because the next one comes out when we'll be at a family reunion...camping. I'm trying to think of ways to get out of that. Oh yeah, same week as girls camp too.
Sounds like you guys had so much fun. I was thinking about the GNO as I was tucking my barfing Mia into bed that night. I don't know where you find the energy...but you totally crack me up with all the funny things you do. I esp like mini-Edward. And the caressing.
I think you need one of those "Yes, I'm one of those Twilight people" buttons on your blog. :)
Fun, fun, fun! It was totally worth staying up so late, and being so stinking tired on Friday. Loved the wave!
By the way...Go team Jacob!
Dang, you girls know how to do a Twilight night RIGHT! So did you go buy a Jake doll after the movie? lol
